Welcome to Captain Doug Adventures!

Aloha friends,

For those of you that don’t know me, let me introduce myself. I’m Capt. Doug. I’m originally from Miami, Florida. So was my father, and his father. I was destined to be a fisherman having grown up in Islamorada, Florida Keys fishing on my dad’s charter boat. Traveling the Keys, Miami, Bahamas, Mexico and Belize as a child, by the time I was ten, I had caught more fish than most people do in their entire life. I graduated college in 1995, and immediately after that, I was recruited into the Miami charter boat industry. From there, I spent every minute of every day fishing wherever I could. My tournament travels have taken me from Bermuda to Hawaii, the Virgin Islands to Australia, and everywhere in between. I’ve loved every minute of it.
